Announcing…the Roundtable!

Merriam-Webster defines “roundtable” as a conference for discussion or deliberation by several participants.

The Roundtable is our online discussion group, where we make connections and build community through conversation. Roundtable peer coordinators facilitate discussions of topics both serious and fun that include and allow everyone to participate. The Roundtable meets weekly on Tuesdays at 4:00 PM on Zoom. Subscribe to the LKAPS newsletter to receive the Zoom link.

This LKAPS peer discussion group formed as the outcome of several virtual meetings held in the last couple of months. Hopefully, at the end of each meeting we will have shared and have been able to reflect, including light moments in the middle of serious topics. Initially the discussion topics will be chosen from the 64 suggestions we received in last month’s survey. We are producing a monthly schedule of topics; but the Roundtable is designed so that there is flexibility, and that topics and discussions can spontaneously come from previous roundtables as well as suggestions.

The hope is that our conversations will be equally broad and far reaching. On every topic, no one will be wrong nor right, as that is how you feel.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Roundtable!

Richard, Mike, Bob, Luis and Blaine
